E Ulu 1, our inaugural campus publication of Kumu scholarship resulted from Kumu participation in Alaukawai 0009, Independent Innovations Pathway Projects (Innovation Pathways). The Innovation Pathways were designed to promote professional development research activities centered on our ʻŌiwi Edge Learning and Teaching Expectations (ʻŌEL&TX). This collection of 13 action research, inquiries and explorations by 17 Kumu, produced a corpus of ʻŌiwi Edge Kumu scholarship that highlights their creativity, rigor, and risk-taking that took place during the 2020-2021 school year.
