A sharp focus on ‘Ōiwi Edge learning and teaching means an ambitious, yet critical responsibility to ground ourselves in epistemologies that leverage cultural assets as a method to meet the learning needs of our students and to influence and shape their futures where change is exponential and accelerating. To meet this challenge, R&D Task Force 0002 was formed to develop and clarify expectations essential for learning and teaching that exemplify our unique ‘Ōiwi Edge campus identity at Kamehameha Schools Hawai‘i.

MO'OKŪ'AUHAU
Utilizing the 'Ōiwi Edge Innovation Process, R&D Task Force 0002 focused their inquiry into two leading research questions:
What does 'Ōiwi Edge
learning & teaching look like?
What attitudes, aspirations, behaviors and values exemplify 'Ōiwi Edge?
